The 41st annual Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Tour was held on Wednesday, July 14. The annual event tours local farms, manufacturing and industrial businesses around the Jackson area. This year's event included stops at EPS Buildings, Schoen Farms Dairy, Spooler Farms and Midwest Sterilization. The tour is one of the longest running agriculture tour, if not the longest, in the State of Missouri.
The Hemmings Motor News Great Race vehicles rolled into town on June 22, 2021, for an overnight stop in Cape Girardeau. More than 100 vehicles that were manufactured from 1916 to 1974 participated in the rally, which began on June 19 in San Antonio, TX, and concluded on June 29 in Greenville, SC. They passed through Jackson on Highway 72 on their way to Cape Girardeau.

On Friday, February 26, the Uptown Jackson Revitalization Organization's Design Committee hosted this year's February Annual, themed "Six Feet Together," in Uptown Jackson. The event featured a scavenger hunt, food vendors and artwork by Nadine Saylor, Rob Lorenz and Dr. Edwin Smith.
